AMEEEEEN!!! :-)

its really very fantastic posting here that you share with us. i am so glad to read this.

What a great post, and so true. My kids make me crazy for 2 weeks, then when they go to their dad's every other weekend, I miss them so much!

Loved the honesty of the post Stacy - it's so true. But glad you recognise that despite the tantrums, she is definitely worth it; just goes to show what a good mom you are :)

I had to giggle when you described mimicking PN, because I've often done that to Madison. Except in our case, it just makes her cry and scream some more. Ugh. Motherhood.

Justine :o )

I go grocery shopping when my older daughter is at school, so I only have my two-year old along, and oh, boy, it is challenging! She has already started demanding "stuff!" I can't wait until they are both in school so I can shop in peace! (and it will be much faster, too!)

they are so worth it...

yanno i have teens and have resorted to this type of behavior...more times than not I feel like i am crazy

I had forgotten about the grocery store meltdowns. In retrospect, I'd like to relive one. At least you're not listening to her say "Mom, I forgot to tell you I'm moving to Las Vegas on Wednesday with my boyfriend!"

Yes, really.

I am smiling thinking about you in a parking lot, shrieking back and forth! LOL!

I'm going to go with the positive here and say she's going to grow up to be a woman who speaks her mind, stands up for herself, and is a leader. :)

Stacey, this Spin is utter brilliance. I LOVE the way you worded it.
"It causes you to hang an 'Out of Order' sign on the Time Machine and enjoy staying right where you are" I want to frame that saying.
I've had some moments where I wax nostalgic about my pre-Sprite days, but you're right, these tough moments are so fleeting and replaced so easily by the better ones. Brava!
You're linked!

You sound like a great mom! And she sounds like she is very loved!

Bliss-ings to you!

It was a daily battle with two boys when growing up- double your crisis, think a about tag team wrestling..

I loved this post! It is so true. Life might have been simpler BJ (that's before Jack at our house) but who would ever really want to change?
Also thanks for stopping by our blog.

Are you sure you weren't with my daughter?;) It sounds like they are identical 6 year olds. I have resorted to mocking her during a scream session but then I have to laugh at the fact that I am acting like a 6 year old. What has she done to me? Her being in school has made for very peaceful grocery store visits. Yea!

What a sweet post! So this parenting thing is all worth it huh?

Ah, the grocery shopping. I have to admit, I always linger a little longer when I'm at the store by myself, walking along with a sly smile as someone else's child pitches a fit, knowing mine are safely (though probably not quietly) at home. I am always happy to come home to them though. It IS all worth it. And the image of you and PN in a parked car shrieking contest was hilarious. Great spin!
